How to replace Audi Q7 Battery – Year models 2008-2018

Step 1: Preparation
1. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

3. Remove any covers or panels concealing the battery.
Step 2: Disconnect the Old Battery

- Now remove covers from front floor and located seat mounting bolts. Use special tool to remove those 2 bots from front and remove all the plastic linings.
- Now go to back of the seat and remove plastic lininigs.
- Tilt the seat all the way to the back.
- Remove battery cover by un-doing 4 clips.
- Now you should be able to see the battery. Start by disconnecting the negative (-) terminal using a socket wrench.
3. Then disconnect the positive (+) terminal.
4. There willl be 2 hold down clamp or bracket securing the battery, one near negative termial, other in the middle, remove those.
Step 3: Remove the Old Battery
1. Carefully lift out the old battery. It might be heavy, so use proper lifting techniques.
2. Inspect the battery tray for corrosion. Clean it with a battery terminal cleaner if necessary.
Step 4: Install the New Battery
1. Place the new battery in the tray, ensuring it is positioned correctly.
2. Reattach the hold-down clamp or bracket securely.

1. Connect the positive (+) terminal first.
2. Connect the negative (-) terminal next.
